**The Role: Business Development / Event Coordinator**
We are hiring a full-time, permanent Business Development / Event Coordinator based in Toronto, ON, with in-office collaboration required 3 days per week. This hybrid role is designed for someone who is equal parts relationship-builder and a results-driven closer, comfortable managing existing client accounts while also executing strategic outbound sales to drive new business.

**What You'll Be Responsible For**:
**Account Management & Event Coordination**
- Serve as a point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring an outstanding experience from onboarding through post-event follow-up
- Oversee project timelines, coordinate event logistics, and work alongside our production and creative teams to ensure seamless activations
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and client communications, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency
- Maintain up-to-date records in CRM and project management tools

**Business Development & Outbound Sales**
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with agencies, corporate clients, and planners in the GTA

**Client Success & Upselling**
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities and upcoming events
- Uncover additional revenue opportunities within existing accounts through strategic upselling
- Provide input on accounts and feedback to the internal team for continuous improvement

**Reporting & Collaboration**
- Track sales activity, lead status, and event outcomes in CRM
- Collaborate with Senior Event Coordinator and other teams
- Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvements
- Attend events as needed

**What You Bring to the Table**
- 3+ years of experience in business development, account management, or sales, in experiential marketing, creative services, events, or production
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver outstanding service
- Demonstrated success in outbound sales
- Strong organizational skills and comfort juggling multiple projects at once
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Comfortable using CRM and project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Pixifi, Hubspot)

**Bonus**:

- Familiarity with event production, photo/video activations, or agency workflows
- A strong local network within the Toronto events or marketing community

**Position Details**

- Toronto-based (in-office 3 days/week, with event site visits as needed)
