Job description:
The Customer Support Specialist (After Hours) plays a vital position in ensuring customers are immediately serviced for emergency requirements. The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for service to all branches during non-business hours, in all the departments such as Parts, Service, Field Service, Sales, Rentals and for all divisions such as Tractor, Truck, Industrial Engines, Marine and Reman.
- Manage emergency orders and expedite parts for all branch after hours requirements
- Route critical after hours service calls to appropriate on call personnel
- Ensure that customers or potential customers receive the best uninterrupted customer service attainable in the industry
- Monitor facility alerts to ensure the Data Center is uninterrupted
- Participate in various Parts and Marketing projects as required
- Participate in workplace safety, environmentally sound and healthy behaviours and objectives at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy/ Programs and best practices

Job Qualifications:

- Post Secondary Education with 3+ years equivalent experience in a parts department and customer service position
- Must be Bilingual
- Customer centric and analytical with strong mechanical or technical aptitude
- Superior communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities
- Self-starter, independent and a team player with a sense of urgency
- Willing and able to work a rotating schedule Computer literate with knowledge of AS400, OS/2, SIS, DBS, ANTARES, CAT NETWORK and Microsoft Office Applications
