We are seeking a detail-oriented and **Bilingual** **Business Systems Analyst** to act as a vital bridge between our operations team and IT development. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business needs and operational expectations into clear, actionable requirements for our development team. You won’t need to write code, but you will collaborate closely with developers to ensure the end product aligns with business objectives and operational goals.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the IT development team.
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Translate complex operational needs into clear and concise technical requirements.
- Participate in planning meetings, sprint reviews, and other agile ceremonies as needed.
- Work closely with developers to clarify requirements, provide business context, and help prioritize deliverables.
- Validate that final deliverables meet business expectations and operational functionality.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend system-based solutions.
- Support bilingual communication across teams to ensure clear understanding and collaboration.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in training business users on new functionalities.

**Qualifications**
- **Fluency in English and French** - both verbal and written.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and how technology supports business functions.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and simplify complex business processes.
- Experience working with development teams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in an Agile or Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with project management and requirements-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Industry-specific knowledge (e.g., logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, etc.).

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
