**Job Summary**:
**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Prospecting clients to evaluate their scrap metal management program and to demonstrate the features and benefits our services provide.
- Effectively use sales tools and programs to achieve established key performance metrics.
- Developing and entering quotes and orders in the sales system in response to customer requirements.
- Conducting weekly and monthly routine reporting to the sales team.
- Maintain and update database with new and existing customer information and lead opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining business relationships with current and potential customers
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of products and services.
- Maintain a friendly, professional attitude toward clients and customers.
- Travel to perform sales visits and client presentations.
- Provide support to the sales team.

**Requirements**:

- Field sales experience, 3+ years
- In-field training required (will be provided)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attentive and active telephone skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Strong organizational approach with ability to prioritize.
- Customer-focused and pro-active problem-solving approach.
- Knowledgeable and proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Positive attitude and self-motivated.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Experience using CRM software preferred.
- Be able to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
