Our network of young people across Canada is as busy as ever, and our staff of 87 humans and three dogs are working just as hard - albeit from the comfort and safety of their own homes for the time being

Reporting to the **Evaluation Lead,** the** Evaluation Coordinator **is responsible for supporting all evaluation efforts at Jack.org. Working with the Evaluation and Knowledge Translation team, the Evaluation coordinator provides administrative and research coordination support, including support with survey development and administration, tracking key metrics, coordination with evaluation participants, and basic data cleaning and analysis. The Evaluation Coordinator supports a learning culture to advance Jack.org’s strategic priorities and ensure continued delivery and expansion of high-impact programs.

**In this role, you will be**:

- Providing support across the evaluation portfolio, including:

- Coordinating survey development, revision, translation, and administration
- Regularly updating key metrics dashboards to provide timely evaluation data for staff
- Coordinating with evaluation participants, including scheduling interviews and focus groups, obtaining consent, administering incentives, and responding to participant queries
- Responding to requests for basic data from program and development teams on time
- Supporting with basic data cleaning, coding, and analysis
- Conducting interviews and focus groups
- Correcting qualitative interview and focus group transcripts
- Supporting evaluation report writing
- Identifying and addressing recruitment, data collection, and quality issues as they arise.
- Conducting literature reviews to ensure our program models and evaluation methods align with current research and best practices.
- Supporting knowledge translation work, including surveys or interviews for projects such as the Campus Assessment Tool
- Drafting abstracts to present Jack.org’s knowledge translation and evaluation work at conferences
- Supporting general evaluation work and other duties as required
- Working collaboratively with programs staff to support the program development and data collection needs as they arise

**We’re looking for someone who has**:

- A relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, including coursework in quantitative methods and analysis
- Knowledge or related experience in public health, research, or program evaluation, including research administration and quantitative data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Strong knowledge of quantitative research methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to integrate qualitative and quantitative methods and can support a mixed methods evaluation approach
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write in an accessible style for non-academic audiences
- Experience writing literature reviews or research papers and abstract submissions
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment; can balance competing priorities and quickly adapt plans to changing organizational needs
- Ability to prioritize and proactively manage immediate, short-term, and long-term deliverables in a professional and respectful manner
- Experience with data processing using R, and a willingness to learn, is highly desirable

**We would love it if you had (Ideal, but not a must)**:

- Experience working with Salesforce or other similar Customer Relationship Software (CMS)
- Experience translating evaluation learnings for program design and development
- Experience working with youth
- An understanding of and passion for youth mental health promotion and education issues
- Working proficiency in French
