Halifax, Canada ATL Developments Full time

ATL Developments is seeking a Surveyor to join our Halifax team.

The surveyor will work on ATL residential development projects within the Halifax Regional Municipality. Your responsibilities will include the following:
**Responsibilities**:

- Surveying using various equipment and tools;
- Work on project sites performing surveys to ensure construction staking/layout is accurate and efficient;
- Collect and report accurate data to management to ensure accurate measurements, of grading, utilities, drainage, paving, etc.;
- Prepare reports, maps as required;
- Follow all safety requirements on site;
- Other duties as required.

**Basic Requirements**:

- College Diploma in Surveying Technician or Geomatics or Civil Engineering Technology.
- 2 years experience in construction surveying;
- Experience with civil or municipal infrastructure construction preferred;
- Experience working with GPS, GIS and CAD;
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications

This position’s hourly rate is $35/hr.
