This role is based out of Halifax, NS.

What You Will Be Doing- Utilize appropriate surveyor equipment, software and systems to efficiently perform duties.- Read and interpret construction drawings.- Perform accurate layout work.- Coordinate surveying activities with the assigned engineer to meet the construction requirements.- Support and promote the company’s Quality Assurance and HSE Program.- Other duties as required.

What We Are Looking For- A minimum of 3 years experience working in a heavy civil/commercial construction environment.-
- A solid understanding of surveying equipment including GPS, total stations and data collectors.- A strong knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.- Experience in working in a unionized environment and within terms of a collective agreement(s).- Knowledge of standard Healthy, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and practices in the construction industry.- Must have a valid driver’s license.- FI-FO available and Camp accommodations
