**SUMMARY**:
The QA Regulatory Senior Specialist will participate in the creation of pack copies. They will participate in reviewing Corporate Brand product labels (PDF artwork) which will include recommending changes to and ensuring regulatory compliance.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Approve all elements of technical copy for Corporate Brands products as they progress through the various design stages.
- Continuous correspondence with suppliers to verify specifications, pack copies, claims, allergens and labels is key.
- Track and ensure that pack copies are created as per the timelines established by Corporate Brands.
- Review and make recommendations on pack copies created by the Regulatory Specialists.
- Assess Corporate Brand food products for Front-of-Package nutrition symbol requirements in pack copies.
- Interact with Metro's design agency and Quebec design teams re pack copies and label creation.
- Ensure all labels for Corporate Brand items are in compliance with Metro standards and applicable regulations.
- Ensure technical requirements for the Front-of-Package nutrition symbol have been met on PDF artwork.
- Support other regulatory projects that may arise.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- University degree or College diploma in nutrition, food science or other related discipline
- 3+ years of regulatory experience in food, preferably from a corporate setting
- 3+ years of experience in reviewing food labels
- Must be very detail oriented
- Strong time management skills required
- Strong communication skills required (written and verbal)
- Intermediate Microsoft Suite experience
- English / French bilingual an asset
