**The Opportunity**

Leavitt Machinery is looking for an experienced **Manager, Procurement** to join our team in **Coquitlam, BC**. As the Manager, Procurement, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing sourcing strategies to ensure the efficient operations of our Facilities and Fleet Vehicle departments.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

As the Manager, Procurement, your key responsibilities will include:

- Lead the sourcing process, including researching and identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring and assessing supplier performance
- Develop, implement, and achieve KPIs related to the spend on key company resources
- Drive cost savings by establishing, maintaining, and reviewing procurement processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers
- Manage, train, develop, and motivate Facilities and Fleet Vehicle department employees
- Oversee procurement of all facility-related services, including maintenance, utilities, safety, and security services
- Oversee procurement of fleet vehicles, including leasing, purchasing, and vehicle maintenance services
- Ensure efficient use of space, energy resources, and facility-related assets
- Develop strategies for fleet optimization, including lifecycle management and fuel efficiency
- Develop and manage capital and operating budgets, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and optimization
- Work closely with senior leadership to align strategic sourcing decisions with organizational objectives

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree in a related field such as business administration, management or logistics
- Procurement or supply chain certification, such as CIPP, CIPM or SCMP, is a strong asset
- Proven leadership and prior management experience
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn fleet management system
- A strategic thinker with a visionary focus and a proactive attitude
- Self-motivated with a strong business acumen and sound decision-making skills
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills; proven success negotiating supplier contracts
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

The base pay range for this role is: $115,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is a** hybrid**role based in **Coquitlam or Langley, BC**. Please note that after training is complete, work can be performed from home two days per week.
