Procurement & Materials Coordinator

Full-Time | On-Site

Job Summary

Earls is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement & Materials Coordinator to support purchasing, inventory control, documentation, and basic facility needs. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials are sourced accurately, tracked efficiently, and documented properly to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Purchasing & Supplier Management

  • Request quotes for all production and non-production materials.
  • Organize and present quotes to management for quick decision-making.
  • Manage online supplier accounts and maintain secure, accessible login information.
  • Maintain awareness of overall spending to support cost-control efforts.

Material Specifications & Quality Documentation

  • Ensure all materials are properly specified on purchase orders and related paperwork.
  • Verify supplied materials meet required specifications.
  • Enter and organize material test reports, certificates of origin, and other quality documents.
  • Confirm parts/assemblies have engineering or manager approval prior to external processing (sandblasting, painting, etc.).

Inventory & Work Order Management

  • Track raw material inventory levels.
  • Create and maintain inventory for COTS and vendor items, including shelving locations.
  • Cross-check and close work orders.
  • Accurately enter material consumption into work orders.

Logistics & Facility Support

  • Arrange local cartage and assist with material movement.
  • Manage basic facility and shop supplies (work gloves, consumables, etc.)
  • Coordinate basic facility maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement, inventory, warehousing, or manufacturing support (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering, and management teams.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, inventory systems, and documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,500.00 per year
