**HOURS: ALL SHIFTS AS REQUIRED (INCLUDING WEEKENDS)**

**SALARY: $44.67 (Min) - $57.91 (Max)

**QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE**:
Master’s Degree in Health Care Field (OT, SW, BT) is required
Registered Psychotherapist
Minimum three years’ experience in mental health/care preferably in an inpatient setting is required
Sound knowledge of psychiatric conditions and demonstrated understanding of mental health problems

experienced by children and youth is required

Experience with suicide safety planning for children, adolescents and their families required
Demonstrated knowledge of clinical theory and practice in behaviour analysis utilizing a biopsychosocial

framework

Experience in family centered care is required
Understanding of behavior Management, and operant conditioning principles
Experience working with parents and families, parent management training an asset
Knowledge, skills and/or proven experience in assessing and measuring behaviour and behaviour/environment

interactions, and developing change plans is required

Ability to verbally de-escalate children and youth in crisis is required
Demonstrated knowledge, experience and expertise in CBT, DBT, and other relevant best practices for the

population is requires

Knowledge of eating and feeding disorders
Good knowledge of pharmacology is required
Demonstrated clinical and leadership skills to provide individual and group interventions
Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey and document essential clinical information
Proven interpersonal, negotiating and problem solving skills to establish and maintain positive working

relationships with patients, family members, program staff and agencies

Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, PHIPA, HCCA and other relevant legislature required
Possession of a valid Ontario Driver’s License and clear driver’s abstract required
Proven communication and problem-solving skills
Superior interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work independently
Coping with stressful situations
Attention to detail necessary and the ability to prioritize an asset
Aptitude to meet numerous deadlines simultaneously
Familiarity with Child and Youth Mental Health Services in the Nipissing District considered a strong asset
Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is an asset**_._**
