HOURS: ALL SHIFTS AS REQUIRED

SALARY: $39.16 (MIN) TO $50.77 (MAX)

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) required, Masters in Social Work (MSW) an asset
Current certification of Registration from OCSWSSW required
Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate required (training delivered by Health

Centre upon hire)

Must have 3-5 years of recent (within the last 2-3 yrs) experience in an acute care setting with
coordination of community services required

Excellent interpersonal, interviewing and counselling skills required
Case management skills and inter-disciplinary and intersectoral team orientation required
Demonstrated familiarity with discharge planning principles and resource utilization required
Excellent conceptual protocol knowledge of relevant legislation is required
Knowledge relating to utilization and decision support required
Experience, skill and punctuality in preparing reports required
Must be able to work with mínimal supervision, capable of making timely decisions and exercising

tact and good judgement.

Expected to function independently
Knowledge of community resources is required
Computer skills required
Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients,

volunteers, and visitors

Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this
organization

Good attendance and work record required

North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) is a unique health care organization with three primary roles:
providing acute care services to North Bay and its surrounding communities, functioning as the district

referral centre providing specialist services for smaller communities in the area, and it’s the specialized
