Are you currently a student looking for a job related to IT? Look no further, the IT Service Center is looking for a new Help Desk Assistant
Your future responsibilities:
- Respond to first-line questions from iA employees;
- Handle assigned support requests to diagnose, prioritize subsequent actions to determine the causes of the issues encountered, and provide necessary interventions to restore the situation;
- Involve appropriate support teams or consult them in order to obtain essential answers for problem resolution when needed;
- Monitor solution progress to meet service agreements and deadlines and follow up with the user;
**Profile**:
- Currently enrolled in a University program related to IT;
- General awareness of computer systems and networks;
- Resourcefulness and quick-thinking nature to troubleshoot technical issues as they arise;
- Ability to deploy, configure, and support operating systems on laptops;
- Understanding of information security within systems and user devices;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, along with patience, a customer-friendly attitude and the ability to work in a team environment;
- Full-time availability to work on-site in Vancouver.
