We’re looking for an Assistant Controller who will be a key part of building the financial backbone of the company

**How the job looks like**:

- Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements
- Provide financial information and analysis to satisfy requests from operations, marketing, technology and R&D
- Ensure compliance with various tax regimesCollaborate and drive continuous improvement initiatives (including implementation and updating of systems, processes and controls)
- Ensure accounting standards and best practices are followed
- 3+ years of relevant experience working in a similar position
- Bachelor diploma in Accountancy
- Good knowledge of IFRS
- Strong attention to detail, adaptable, analytical and great organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
- Proven ability to collaborate and be an effective team player
- Experience working in a high-growth start-up environment
