- Knowledge of full cycle recruitment
- Assessment of the impact of human resources practices on employee job satisfaction, turnover and service quality.
- To assess and track the training needs of the employees of the Association.
- Ability to manage information systems
- Previous experience with scheduling systems would be an asset
- Work with the senior manager to develop and implement human resources policies, programs and related procedures and practices
- Knowledge of Labour Relations
- Experience in a unionized environment is an asset
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and skilled with Social Media and recruitment
- Strong communication skills, including written and verbal; promote and demonstrate open and positive communication with all areas of the organization
- Demonstrates good judgment and problem solving, strong leadership, and ability to think critically
- Passionate about and committed to the values community inclusion and belonging
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends

**Qualifications**
- Related degree or Diploma
- Demonstrated superior ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to work independently but within a team setting
- Clear Criminal Records Search
- TB screening
- Physician’s letter stating the prospective employee’s health is sufficient for the job

This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Quality Assurance and Human Resources. Compensation will be negotiated based on a combination of education, experience, and overall suitability.
