**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Director, IT Strategic Initiatives, the Carleton 360 Specialist works to support the development of solutions for Carleton 360 Enhancements and Reporting. The Carleton 360 Specialist requires highly developed functional knowledge of the core student systems (including Banner and Tribal SITS/SID (Carleton 360) used to support student academic records, audits & retention, affiliated services, and functional processes. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining up-to-date documentation, troubleshooting, and quickly resolving functional process problems within the Carleton 360 environment.

The incumbent participates in the development of Carleton 360 solutions, collects/defines user requirements, tests system functionality, and implements new processes to meet the mission, goals, and objectives of the Academic Departments and the offices within the portfolio of the Associate Vice-President (Enrolment Management). The incumbent provides advice and leads the implementation of system enhancements/changes.

- Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Highly developed ability to think logically through complex procedural and systems processes.
- Highly developed leadership and team building skills; interpersonal skills; communication, presentation, and consultation skills are required.
- Excellent client service and conflict resolution skills to establish effective liaison and rapport with University staff
- High level of tact and diplomacy
- Interviewing and group workshop skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to work with mínimal supervision are all essential to the position.
- Thorough understanding of systems and tools such as Banner, Tribal SITS/SID CRM, and other 3rd party systems that interface with Banner.
- Strong communication and analytical skills to consult with staff across the University to define user requirements, evaluate systems performance and suitability for project needs, and to provide systems-related advice.
- Project management skills to manage system upgrades and changes.
- Training and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and with accuracy.
- Team leadership skills.

**Education and Experience**:
The above is normally acquired through the completion of:

- Four-year post-secondary school program or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of related experience in an academic records environment
