As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for the management and organization of the Company’s purchasing of materials by placing purchase orders to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Process purchase requisitions into purchase orders (POs) for goods and services using procurement software, send POs to vendors, and follow up on outstanding orders
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as cost, lead times, availability of stock, and delivery schedules
- Verify receipt of items, resolve the error in shipments with suppliers.
- Authorize payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.
- Manage relationships between vendors and internal teams, negotiating terms and conditions, and resolving quality issues
- Monitor supplier performance and inventory needs to identify potential issues in the supply chain
- Support inventory management activities such as cycle counts and stock accuracy reporting
- Support sourcing and supply chain risk assessment activities
- Projects as assigned by manager

**Qualifications and Experience**
- 1 year of logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
- MRP/ERP experience considered an asset
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Procurement/Engineering or any other related field considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent software skills, with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable liaising with external parties
