**Job description**
Alma Engineering Inc. is one of the leading connection design firms within Ontario. Alma Engineering aims to provide accurate and well Engineered shop drawings for erection of structural and miscellaneous steel framing, along with detailed fabrication and single part drawings for use during the fabrication process.
As Alma Engineering has grown exponentially over the years, we are looking to expand our administration team with strong and efficient individuals looking to join our family owned and operated firm.
**To qualify for this position**:
- Strong written / verbal communications skills in the English language.
- Has successfully completed a post-secondary education
- Is proficient with word and data processing software - MS Office Suite
- Has organization and time management skills, including and ability to manage and prioritize competing assignments
- Has experience working in the Engineering/Architectural/Construction firm environment
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
- Has some experience with photo or publishing softwares for Marketing use
- Experience with Bid sites and preparing/submitting of proposals
**Key Responsibility Areas**:
- Assisting the Engineering staff and principals on day-to-day administrative tasks
- Download and save project files as necessary
- Manage proposal sites and genrate leads
- Prepare project proposals, fee proposals, bids
- Assist and coordinate responses to RFQ, RFP and/or fee proposal requests
- Create and develop new marketing and/or promotional material
- Assist with coordination of internal or external events and/or meetings
- Manage event, proposal or project schedules
- Organize internal filing systems - electronically and hard copies
- Keep track of and manage front of house, coffee station, snack bar, office supplies
- Maintain and support internal and external attendees to the office user experience
- Manage and retrieve mail, logbooks, service management etc.
- Other duties as required
**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
