The shifts can range from 4-8 hours per day. Weekends are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, including some public holidays. Will require weekday flexibility to meet program needs. Will require overnight shifts. **Key Responsibilities**: - Supporting individuals with activities of daily living. - Household duties: cooking and cleaning, other duties as assigned. - Administering medication, recording daily shift notes. - Maintaining a healthy and safe environment. - Reinforcing residents’ life skills, spirituality, and social and community skills. - Working as part of a team supporting individuals living in the residential care facility **Skills**: All employees should demonstrate a warm, sensitive and caring approach, flexibility, organization, initiative, and the ability to work independently. Employees must be able to maintain good interpersonal relationships and have a genuine interest in providing quality care for people living with mental illness. **Education/Experience**: Minimum High School diploma. Priority given to those with post-secondary education in the social sciences and/or residential experience; current students encouraged to apply. **Compensation**: $20.43- $24.56 hourly based on education and experience.
