We are looking for an Enterprise Strategy & Planning Department Manager to join our team. Under the general direction of the
Director of Enterprise Strategy, the Enterprise Strategy and Planning Department Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team
responsible for providing leadership, advisory, strategic, and facilitation services in the ongoing development, implementation, and
maintenance of the enterprise strategic framework, enterprise planning cycle, and associated processes and tools. The Enterprise
Strategy & Planning Department Manager will work closely with the Enterprise Strategic Insights Department to support Business
Unit planning as well as Manitoba Hydro's Strategic framework.

The Manager of Enterprise Strategy & Planning supports leaders at all levels to enable strategic decision making. This role is critical
in enhancing the quality of strategic decisions and ensuring alignment across Manitoba Hydro. This role may attend Executive and
Board meetings alongside the Director or as a delegate as required.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Develop, implement, and maintain Manitoba Hydro's strategic framework. This includes the continual review, refresh, and

support of the Strategic planning framework.
- Lead and Support the CEO and the ELT in the strategy development process.
- Support the Director of Strategy with material development, insights, process, and facilitation for the Strategy, Risk and
- Finance monthly reviews at ELT to drive progress at the enterprise level.
- Lead the development, execution, and successful delivery of Business Unit planning, ensuring alignment with overall
- enterprise goals and objectives, while driving strategy throughout Manitoba Hydro.
- Prepare strategic reports and packages for the Manitoba Hydro Electric Board as it relates to Enterprise Strategy & Planning
- and attend MHEB meetings whenever necessary.
- Standardize strategic frameworks and methodologies across Manitoba Hydro and implement and sustain a common language
- for strategy across Manitoba Hydro.
- Lead cross-business unit strategic process with Enterprise Risk Management, Chief Financial Officer, Human Resources,

Safety Health & Environment, and Stakeholder Relations on the strategic process to ensure adoption, integration, and
alignment.
- Support the Enterprise Strategic Dashboard through strategy development and in collaboration with the Enterprise Strategic

Insights group.
- Facilitate effective communication and understanding of strategic choices throughout all levels of management/leadership

across Manitoba Hydro.
- Encourage a growth mindset within the team to continue to iterate on Manitoba Hydro's Strategic framework, the tools, and

the processes. (Reimagine)
- Ensure that strategy development and planning happen at all organizational levels.
- Stay up to date on industry best practices to identify new opportunities and trends. Iterate whenever required.

- Establish enterprise key performance indicators (KPIs)/enterprise key behaviour indicators (KBI) and monitor the

effectiveness of strategic initiatives through reporting across the company, working collaboratively with the Strategic Insights
Department.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- A university degree in an appropriate discipline from an institute of recognized standing, plus nine years of related experience

demonstrating progressively greater responsibility in a supervisory/leadership capacity.
OR
- A two-year diploma in an appropriate discipline from an institute of recognized standing, with ten years of related experience

demonstrating progressively greater responsibility in a supervisory/leadership capacity.
OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated strategic and leadership ability and experience.
- MBA is an asset.
