- Install various types of flooring materials, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific dimensions and layouts
- Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, leveling surfaces, and repairing any damage
- Lay out flooring patterns and designs according to blueprints or customer preferences
- Install underlayment, padding, or moisture barriers as necessary
- Secure flooring materials using adhesives, nails, staples, or other appropriate methods
- Trim and finish flooring edges using hand tools or power tools
- Clean up work area and remove any debris or waste materials

- Previous experience in flooring installation or a related field preferred
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for cutting, trimming, and installing flooring materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow installation instructions
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and their installation requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure proper fit and finish
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to unexpected challenges during installation process
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and equipment as needed

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
