Parts Administrator

**DXP/ National Process Equipment** is looking to add a **Parts - Customer Service Representative** to their team in Edmonton.
In this role you will be responsible to prepare and issues parts quotations directly to end user accounts. You have great attention to detail, with a balanced approach, a sense of urgency. This role requires you to work with a wide variety of people internally and externally.
**Hours/Days of Work**:Monday-Friday 7:30 to 4:30 pm
**Salary**: $42K per year
**Responsibilities of this job are, but is not limited to**:
- Be responsible for pricing, preparing, and submitting parts quotations to end users and internal departments.
- Be responsible for supporting a proactive after market parts program aimed at securing new parts business from an installed population of pumps and compressors.
- Work directly with represented manufacturers to obtain technical information, project pricing and special requirements.
- Enter sales orders, draft purchase orders etc.
- Assist in the preparation of various market and quotation activity reports, and sales forecasts for the Company’s represented manufacturers.
**Requirements for this role are**:
- Three years previous experience in a parts department environment, preferably with a pump and/or compressor distributor.
- Attention to detail and ability to read and interpret parts manuals.
- Superior and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated analytical skills required for technical documents review and comment.
- Better than average computer skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Superior organizational skills - a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a busy team.
- Ability to work within a demanding schedule with short deadlines and produce accurate results.
**The following would be an asset**:
- Experience with an ERP operating systems
- Direct sales experience with pumps or compressors.
- Bilingual (French and English) is an asset
