_**Cemetery Grounds Person**_

Mount Sinai Cemetery Association is currently recruiting a Full-Time Grounds Person.

Applicants looking for seasonal work, with the possibility of moving to full time in the future. are encouraged to also apply.

**DUTIES**:

- Operate heavy equipment (excavators), motorized vehicles (4x4 utility vehicles, pickup truck, tractor)
- Participate in the interment process, including the excavation, set up and completion of interments.
- Perform landscaping and hardscaping duties around buildings, structures, monument foundations, roadways and the general property, including snow removal and any other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment (excavators/tractors/4x4 vehicles) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in general light construction or landscaping/hardscaping preferred
- Ability to perform outdoor/indoor physical labour, lifting to 50 lbs
- Customer Service oriented
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Fluent in English (oral/written)
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License

**EMPLOYMENT & BENEFITS**:

- Full time hours 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday
- Sundays 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- On the job training provided
- On-site parking
- TTC bus stop outside entrance (One bus from Wilson station to Mount Sinai front gates)
- Salary rate dependent upon experience at time of hiring

This position is based on a 7.5 hour day (6.5 hour day on Sundays), and may change as required for the needs of the business, including working of overtime when required.
