**Job Posting: Studio Manager** **Company**: Rolla Skate Club **Location**: East Vancouver, PNE **Responsibilities**: **Operations Management**: - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting. - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including regular facility inspections and maintenance. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including equipment upkeep and inventory management. **Team Leadership**: - Manage and motivate a team of employees to achieve performance targets and provide exceptional customer service. - Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and training processes for new staff to ensure a smooth integration into the team. - Implement staff training programs to enhance skills and improve service delivery. **Program Development**: - Develop and implement programs and classes that meet the needs of the community and promote member engagement. - Oversee all programming and member communications to ensure a cohesive and engaging experience. **Sales and Community Engagement**: - Drive membership sales through effective marketing and outreach strategies, including community events. - Foster a strong community presence through partnerships with local organizations and participation in community events. **Financial Oversight**: - Monitor financial performance, including revenue tracking, expense management, and reporting. **Continuous Improvement**: - Analyze member feedback and market trends to continuously improve services and offerings. - Create and maintain a positive and welcoming environment for members and guests, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in business, recreation management, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in studio management or a similar role, preferably in a fitness or recreational environment. - Strong operational and employee management skills, with experience in team leadership and development. - Proven track record in driving sales, membership growth, and customer retention. - Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for community and movement. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with members and staff. - Proficiency in Google Docs and familiarity with gym management software. - Excited to leverage AI and current technologies to enhance efficiency in our operations. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. - Must align with the Rolla Core Values of Welcome, Uplift, Play, Lead and Courage. (see more below) **Compensation & Schedule** - Full-time position, Monday-Friday with some weekends required as needed. - Location: On site, in-person. - Salary range: $24 to $28 per hour. - Health benefits included. - Free Rolla Membership - valued at $189/month. - Start date to be confirmed.
