Our Learning and Development Manager oversees our education delivery strategy, helping to support our belief that everyone should return home safe at the end of their workday. Some of the rewarding work you will do, includes:

- Creating and delivering tailored training programs for the continuing and community care sector.
- Identifying training needs, customizing content with stakeholder input, and developing various learning strategies.
- Implementing a range of learning techniques, to maximize quality education and learner uptake.
- Producing training materials to support the delivery of education.
- Working with external stakeholders to obtain input on education content and revisions.
- Overseeing and managing the learning management system to ensure effective delivery of education, record keeping, and certification processes.
- Engaging with staff, our members, and relevant partners to understand the training needs of the sector, including new areas of development.
- Maintaining and informing an education evaluation strategy to ensure course revisions, as necessary to maximize learning effectiveness.
- Working with senior management team to inform the organization’s education strategy.
- Bringing creativity, passion, and innovation to allow for emerging ideas that will continuously improve the quality of education provided by the organization.
- Facilitating courses and training from time-to-time and act as a peer support to member organizations to help them implement effective training programs.
- Other duties as required by the senior management team.

**Is this you?**
- A degree in a discipline related to education. Master’s Degree in Education or Adult Education is an asset.
- A minimum of five years’ experience working in a training and education environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills, works well on their own, able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.
- Outstanding attention to detail and thrive managing multiple, concurrent projects.
- Familiarity with leading practices in adult education principles and education content designed to inform education strategy.
- Current knowledge of new developments, trends, and research in organizational and leadership development and change management.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety and/ or the continuing and community care sector is an asset.
- Enjoy working with a small and dynamic team.
- Self-confident and able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work remotely when needed.
- Passionate about creating safe and healthy workplaces.
