_Medical Office Assistant/Ophthalmic Technician_
**Job Description**:
Must have:

- Experience in ophthalmic pre-testing, including visual acuity, IOP & pachymetry.
- Experience performing visual field testing & OCT.
- Responsibilities will vary from checking-in and scheduling patients, to pre-testing and post-testing patients (including history-taking).
- Preparing patients for examination rooms and manage the flow of patients
- Duties also include sterilization & maintenance of ophthalmic equipment.
- Keen to assist with minor office medical procedures & assist with tasks necessary for day-to-day clinic operation.
- Excellent interpersonal & telephone skills
- Organized, neat, professional & punctual
- Good at multi-tasking & ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Team player but also able to work independently
- Proficient with computers or previous experience with EMR’s (Accuro)
- Other medical office skills beneficial
- Must be eligible to work in Canada with required work visas in place
- Must be able to work and travel between Vancouver and Richmond clinic
- Must be competent in English.
- Other languages such as Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese and Tagalog is an asset.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent

Required experience: 1 year Ophthalmic Technician

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Additional pay:
