**Highway Driver Cube Van Job Description**

We are looking for enthusiastic, team players in Charlottetown, PEI. As a Highway Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials within a designated regional area, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.

Company vehicle will be provided.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Safely drive and operate a cube van.
- Pick up and deliver varieties of items to various locations.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues before and after trips.
- Comply with driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
- Document and log work/ rest periods and miles spent driving
- Physical labor/handling of shipments weighing upwards of 50-75 lbs.
- Load and unload deliveries through a variety of mechanisms and delivery assistance devices.
- Use technology to map routes, deliver/pickup/track shipments and communicate universally.
- Ensure documents are delivered and entered accurately.
- Maintain route supply inventory to ensure prompt delivery to customers.
- Scan freight while doing pickups and deliveries.
- Perform all customer tasks in a polite, resourceful, and professional manner and overall excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Maintain Vehicle cleanliness
- Any other duties as required.

**Basic Requirements**:

- 1-2 years experience driving professionally preferred.
- Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work.
- Reliable and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License (required)
- Criminal Record Check Required

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
