**We are currently looking for an **Accounting Analyst** at our Volkswagen Group Canada Corporate Offices in Ajax, ON**

The GL Account Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Senior Accountant (Lamborghini) while adhering to Accounting Services' stringent internal controls. The role is primarily responsible for data preparation and input, account reconciliations, and audit support. This role also provides backup functions for the Senior Accountant (Lamborghini).

**This is a flex hybrid model, requiring 2 days in the Ajax office**

**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Review and reconciliation of specific GL accounts-
- Calculation, preparation and submission of manual journal entries-
- Processing and reconciliation of factory and dealer invoice batches-
- Support accounting processes relating to the Motorsport business-
- Provide backup functions for vehicle billing and MCO requests-
- Provide reports and information to satisfy external and internal audit requests-
- Act as a backup to the Senior Accounting (Lamborghini)-
- All other duties as required**Qualifications**

- Post-secondary Degree, ideally in Accounting; CPA designation-
- 2-3 years of relevant experienceFocused and committed to task completion-
- Communication skills -Written, oral and presentation to document, articulate and convey functions and processes.-
- Analytical skills - Ability to dissect complex issues and processes and identify risks and process improvements.-
- Excellent organizational skills.-
- Works well under daily and monthly deadlines.-
