- Audi Finance and Volkswagen Finance offers a wide range of leasing, retail financing and protection plans expertly tailored to meet the needs of our Customers. Additionally, we provide commercial financing products to Audi and Volkswagen Dealers to support expanding dealership capabilities and enhancing overall operations.

**Role Summary**

The Cost & Planning Analyst is responsible for overall forecasting and reporting overhead expenses. Additionally, the analyst operates the standard 5-year Planning Round tool and is able to perform monthly submission duties of the Planning & Reporting Analyst.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Establish planning round forecast and annual budget for overhead and headcount costs with input from leadership team. Update and communicate headcount planning model to ensure proper staffing levels.
- Operate the Global Standard Tool for the annual 5-year Planning Round by coordinating inputs from key stakeholders, developing assumptions, analyzing actuals and inputs. Work closely with the Planning & Reporting Analyst to understand the Forecast model and upload the monthly actual submission to headquarters in their absence.
- Prepare and monitor monthly overhead and personnel expenses. Meet with leadership team to discuss cost center performance and possible actions to maintain business goals.
- Review and approve all financial commitments against budget and according to corporate policy
- Establish and monitor capital asset allocation to adhere to accounting standard

**Required Qualifications**

Formal education
- University degree required in Accounting or Finance

Experience
- 3 years of experience in Controlling or Finance
- Preferred: 5 years of experience in Controlling or Finance

Competencies
- Advanced Excel financial modeling skills
- Preferred: Prior automotive finance and or automotive business experience

Work schedule
- Availability to work on a flexible work schedule when needed
- Availability for occasional overnight travel, (Montreal, Canada) (once in a quarter)
