We will always remember our management philosophy "A Company is its People" as we train energetic and creative personnel and focus on building a global and richly diverse corporate culture. - **The Quality Supervisor **_will be responsible for the Quality Management System and all related compliance. Management of quality policies, procedures, processes, programs and practices, to assure the company of continuous improvement, conformance and effectiveness. Also responsible for document control management, the incumbent is the lead quality auditor and process improvement specialist while supporting the policies and standard operation procedures. This will position will have 4 direct reports which require strong mentoring abilities to promote growth. **What we look for**: - A hands-on people-supportive leader who drives for results, improves processes and has the ability to develop a strong team and. - Must have previous Quality Supervisory experience with at least 2 years of automotive and/or manufacturing experience. - Strong experience with Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing is a must **Key Accountabilities**: - Establishment and maintenance of Quality standards for the facility in accordance with Customer System and ISO 9001. - Development and management of corrective action, process improvement and auditing projects - Development and management of standard work, policies, procedures, job aids, and business process communications - Development and management of Document Control process including managing documents, forms and work instructions and working with other departments and assisting them with the creation and maintenance of their departmental policies and procedures in conformance with the Quality Management System. - Lead and/or participate in all TPS (Kaizen) initiatives related to the Quality processes ensuring efficiency and effectivenesswithin Quality Dept. - Lead auditor of the Quality Auditing process, supply chain audits, process audits and ISO audits including managing the audit team. Must have a clear understanding of the compliance requirements, collecting objective evidence and writing up audit reports ensuring the quality management system is operating effectively. - Responsible for solving problems where standardization should exist, but may not be operating effectively. Using process mapping techniques, lean or Six Sigma process improvement methodology is essential to reducing waste and effective in the Quality role. A delicate balance exist between resolving problems and identifying those situations that require management intervention for a solution. Good political judgment is required where quality and compliance are concerned. - Plant related APQP with new model builds, design changes and new programs - The Quality Supervisor may be involved in teams and meetings at every level of the organization. Management reviews, supplier reviews, corrective action reviews, process improvement teams, audits, customer visits and strategy discussions. - The incumbent is the person that everybody goes to for answers about quality matters including; Product specifications, supplier requirements, testing, inspections, part verification, equipment calibration, measurements, corrective actions, non-conformances, benchmarking, and acts as the voice of the customer. - Responsible for setting annual goals and targets for his/her team; monitoring and mentoring as required and conducting annual evaluation of individual performance. - Report out monthly quality responsible KPI’s and actions being taken - Overall responsibilities for leading systemic root cause analysis for Layered Process Audit findings with the target to improve overall plant operations - Provide quality leadership to all departments to ensure quality initiatives and objectives are being met and to promote a quality mindset/skillset throughout the entire organization - Lead the Management Review and Plant Risk Assessment activities - Work closely with Production to identify systemic root causes with day to day concerns such as planning, execution, resource allocation/training, absenteeism, turnover, etc. - Work closely with maintenance on equipment downtime concerns, ensuring tracking on the plant QR/QC board to identify root cause and to prevent similar breakdown - Lead all ECN/PCN related activity **Mentoring/Performing Team Responsibilities** - Manage and maintain all internal testing equipment - Effectively follow - up on customer complaints, manage any internal containment activities and issue quality alerts as required. - Monitor daily inspection data and when applicable arrange to have the process fine-tuned to keep the product
