**ABOUT THE JOB**

Marid Industries Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Laborer, Material Handler & Driver/Runner to join our team This is an exciting full-time opportunity for an individual to join our growing team. This is a versatile, hands-on role where you will assist in various tasks on-site, handle materials, and pick up and deliver goods to locations within the province.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**As a Laborer**:

- Perform general manual labor tasks on construction sites, warehouses, or other work environments
- Assist skilled workers with tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and setting up materials
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines

**As a Material Handler**:

- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed
- Organize, store, and move materials efficiently within the warehouse or site
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock is well-organized and easily accessible
- Operate forklifts or pallet jacks (if certified)

**As a Driver/Runner**:

- Safely drive company vehicles to transport and pick up materials, goods, and supplies from various locations
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries and pickups
- Deliver goods to clients and job sites within the province
- Assist with unloading and setting up materials at delivery points
- Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Company vehicle provided for transportation

**SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPEREINCE**
- Valid driver’s license Class 5 with condition 15 (trailer) or equivalent, depending on the vehicle size
- Driver’s abstract (must)
- Forklift certification (preferred, will train)
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical labor
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction or warehousing
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Previous experience in a laborer, material handler, or driver role is a plus
- Willingness to drive within the province and travel to different locations as required

Marid is a full-service contractor unlike many companies in the structural steel business. Marid is a fabricator as well as a construction company with ample engineering capabilities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
