Job Purpose
The Material Handler is integral to our production process, responsible for loading raw materials onto a paint line, unloading finished products, and preparing them for shipment. This role ensures product quality and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Duties
- Efficiently load raw materials onto the paint line to meet production schedules.
- Safely remove painted products from the line and prepare them for packing and shipping.
- Examine painted products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Report any defects or quality issues promptly to the Quality Team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to housekeeping protocols to prevent accidents and enhance efficiency.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely, following manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition before use.
- Strictly follow all health and safety policies, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) properly.
- Stay updated on safety protocols and participate in safety training as required.
- Immediately report health and safety concerns or incidents to the Production Supervisor.
- Communicate any operational issues or suggestions for improvement to the supervisory team.
- Adhere to detailed work instructions and protocols established by the Quality Team.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
