**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients warmly and check them in for their appointments.
- Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks related to patient care.
- Process patient information and insurance claims efficiently using dental software.
- Assist with billing and payment processing as needed.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office.
- Keep up-to-date with medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental office is preferred.
- Proficiency in dental software such Logitech or Paradigm is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Educate, discuss, and outline the benefits of the treatment plan(s) with a focus on building patient ownership to follow their plan(s)

- Schedule patient visits and answer pre-visit questions, including billing questions.
- Encourage patient acceptance of treatment plans by answering questions and creating value for the proposed treatment
- Develop and discuss financial arrangements, insurance coverage and breakdowns, and payment plans for patients
- Update patient records including documentation of new treatment plan(s), adding insurance and billing information
- Manage patient financial accounts - estimating and collecting patient portions due at the time of service
- Manage the patient experience through exceptional customer service skills and excellent presentation skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
