Here’s a typical day:
- Shipment Coordination: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of orders.- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, track shipments, and assist with stock audits.- Documentation: Prepare and manage shipping and receiving documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between warehouse staff, drivers, and customers, ensuring clear and effective communication.- Data Entry: Input and update information in warehouse management systems and spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy.- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shipping, receiving, or inventory.- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations within the warehouse environment.- Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff to facilitate efficient operations and support team goals.
