Office & Human Resources Manager

Job description:
- Human Resources: Administer group benefit plan, conduct annual staff reviews, hire and terminate staff, meet with staff as required and act as mediator in interoffice staff conflicts, supervise administrative staff, track vacation/sick days and update spreadsheets as necessary, arrange for advertising, ensure website is updated, help organize firm social functions, conduct quarterly health and safety meetings and coordinate with OHS as necessary.
- Financial: Assist with basic accounting coverage
- Systems Administration: Add new users to accounts (Land Titles, Alberta Registries, ALF, etc), liaise with off-site computer consultant, maintain accounting software, purchase new equipment, assist with daily Acumin questions and training
Required Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Labour Relations or other related field; OR commensurate experience and/or equivalent knowledge and abilities **Human Resources designation would be considered an asset **Demonstrated past experience supporting team leaders in conducting investigations to resolution **Solid understanding and knowledge of employment legislation, HR trends, issues and best practices **Basic knowledge in entry level accounting **Accounting education is considered an asset**
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year

**Education**:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
