ServiceMaster Restore Peterborough is a leader in Disaster Restoration offering both mitigation and construction services in response to water, fire, smoke, vandalism & other property damage. We have an opening for an Estimator/Project manager Our PM's work as integral members of our team with both management & production departments to ensure maximum efficiency/profitability on projects, a high level of customer service & full file compliance. Responsibilities & Duties: - Develop & maintain positive relationships with clients, adjusters, sub contractors & associates of the company - Accurately & independently develop scopes of work, project methods and proposals, utilizing Xactimate estimating software & other project management tools - Analyze bid proposals from trades, project schedules and estimates, negotiating with trades where required to meet job costing targets - Maintain project schedules & budgets throughout the project on a timely basis - Attend initial and ongoing site meetings throughout the course of managed projects with clients as well as sub trades to ensure quality service - Manage key performance metrics in Xactanalysis, meeting or exceeding established requirements - Provide & maintain project control throughout assigned projects, ensuring site safety, supervision & thorough record keeping - Manage file closing to include; job costing analysis and customer satisfaction - Form part of the "On Call" rotation Qualifications and Skills: Have minimum 5 years experience in a similar role Have Construction experience & knowledge of Ontario Building Code Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Have superior leadership, interpersonal & time management skills Must have "G" driver's license (Drive Abstract required) Have excellent organizational skills Experience with Xactimate software would be an asset **Benefits**: Salary is competitive and is commensurate with experience-Base salary plus incentive/bonus Health Benefits Company provided vehicle Company provided Cell Phone Please respond to this posting with resume Only those with whom we are requesting an interview will be contacted-We thank all applicants for their interest **Salary**: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Vision care Schedule: - Monday to Friday - On call - Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Peterborough, ON K9J 6X6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - construction estimating: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
