Estimator & Technical Administrator, Nefab Canada - Peterborough Site

Nefab Group is on a growth journey, and we are dependent on high-performance people to succeed. We are now looking for an "Estimator & Technical Administrator" to join our team in Nefab Peterborough.

As Estimator & Technical Administrator you will be responsible for working with the Site Manager to develop and maintain manufacturing standards and to provide timely quotes to the selling organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for using the ERP system to generate product cost estimates
  • Responsible for product structure development and standardization
  • Responsible for product routing and standardization
  • Liaison between manufacturing, design, and sales for drawing standardization, prototype building, process development, ECN's and inspections
  • Problem resolution of current design in manufacturing
  • Involved in new product implementation in production
  • Understanding of customer requirements through drawing interpretation
  • Adhere to ISO 9001 and 14001 Policies and Procedures

This position is located in Peterborough, and you will report to the Site Manager.

Education And Experience

  • Post Secondary education involving problem solving and communication training, or equivalency in combination of education and experience
  • 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints or engineering drawings/documents
  • Experience working with steel, wood, corrugate, foam, and/or traded materials considered an asset

Salary

This position will be compensated at $60,000 - $65,000 per year depending on experience.
