**Job Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in our Pension Management team. As a Financial Analyst, you will perform various tasks and administrative functions that assist the team with oversight of the corporate pension arrangements. This role will collaborate closely with other HR team members, other areas across the organization as well as contact with external vendors. Reporting to the Director, Pension Management, you will have the opportunity to grow your skill set and contribute to the continuous improvement of pension management practices and processes.

**What you will do**
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for multiple registered pension plan funds (defined benefit and defined contribution plans)
- Reconcile quarterly balance sheet/expense reporting entries for corporate financial reporting and internal audit processes
- Assist with the preparation of annual pension plan financial statements
- Manage external vendor invoices, review, and coordinate payment authorizations
- Coordinate with internal audit team members and external audit personnel to complete required audit activities (monthly, quarterly, and annual projects)
- Assist with preparation of regulatory filings and senior management pension committee reporting
- Communicate with internal and external vendor contacts to address any errors or concerns
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the quality of and efficiency of day-to-day activities
- Handle special projects as required

**What you will bring**
- Experience working with registered pension plan assets or letters of credit related to pension plans is an asset
- Post-secondary education (preferably in mathematics, statistics, or investments) is an asset or a combination of relevant education and experience
- Experience with SAP financial reporting modules is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and make recommendations for inconsistencies in data
- Exceptional attention to detail with an ability to balance multiple competing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in an effective and professional manner
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office with demonstrated analytical and mathematical skills
