Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. We are a brand new eatery set in a beautiful setting surrounded by history of Calgary Stampede. Maisie Eatery is set to open its doors to public in May 2024. We would like onboard the team in April to provide ample training and familiarity for our grand opening.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers.

**Duties**:
**-Proficient in Latte art and working with sophisticated coffee**:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including cleaning tables, counters, and equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of all products
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or pastries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly

Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Barista is a must have**:

- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a must have**:

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for calculating orders and making change
- Familiarity with sophisticated machines related to coffee making
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
