**ToolTown** is looking to hire a part time **Retail Sales Associate** to join our team We are a family-owned business in Thunder Bay, ON. We are currently seeking a **part-time Sales Associate** to join our team. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their needs, and working with the store manager to execute daily sales goals.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Previous retail experience, preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stand for long periods of time, and walk.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays

**Essential Duties**:The essential duties of the position include:

- Welcome customers in the store
- Answer phone calls and provide customer service
- Order merchandise and check out customers using an iPad iPad Air or other computer systems.
- Maintain store visual appearance and standards.
- Maintain store operations including stocking shelves, operating window displays, preparing food, etc.
- Participate in training provided.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Shift:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thunder Bay, ON P7B 4A1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Serving It Right (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)

Work Location: In person
