Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a clerical support Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, and a sense of urgency which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: C lerical Support Associate/ Retail Sales Location: Thunder Bay, ONPay rate: $17.20Working hour: Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm (possible for extension)What’s the Job? Serving customers in the most efficient and courteous manner on the telephone and in personUp-selling and cross selling Corporate products and servicesHandling customer complaints and inquiriesWorking to resolve problem shipmentsWorking to resolve equipment and technology challengesWorking with and building a positive relationship with Head Office, local management, drivers, warehousing staff, account managers, and other Corporate partners to ensure excellence in customer serviceBuilding a positive relationship with customers; key contacts - vendors, building tenants, etcAssisting customers with shipping details and account challengesLoading, scanning, logging and calling resolution freightCash reconciliation including deposits, key controlCompliance to all corporate policies and procedures (including uniforms)Adhering to all safety standardsBeing on time/attendanceLiving the Purolator valuesRepresenting the Purolator values to customers and key partnersAbility to lift 70lbs/stand for 3 hour intervalsOther duties as assigned by management What’s Needed? 3-12 months customer service experience preferred3-12 months retail experience preffered3-12 months using techology/POS system experience preferreWillingness to work as part of a team.Attention to process, quality, and operational standards.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
