**Site Description**:
York Regional Police Headquarters located in Auora, ON. This location includes the building, parking lot and structures and an adjacent 9.3 acre property.

The on-site high-profile security personnel will provide a variety of services, implementing the York Regional Police Headquarters security objectives according to policies and procedures which may include but are not limited to the following general tasks:

- _ Protect the safety of persons and their belongings on Headquarters property_
- _ Prevent and minimize fire, theft, vandalism, criminal damage, and trespass on the property_
- _ Parking enforcement: including but not limited to the tagging/towing of unauthorized vehicles_
- _ Prohibit entry into secure areas of the York Regional Police Headquarters by anyone other than authorized persons_
- _ Complete interior and exterior patrol rounds_
- _ Monitor security consoles (access control, secure elevator, and CCTV video monitors)_
- _ Respond to alarms_
- _ Complete incident reports, logs, and daily operating reports_
- _ Issue and control access cards and keys to personnel, contractors, and visitors when required_
- _ Lock and unlock doors as scheduled or required_
- _ Report any unusual incidents or hazardous conditions_
- _ Maintain a log of security incidents and report occurrences_
- _ Document, secure, and manage lost and found property and property safekeeping_
- _ Document all events in notebook or electronic incident report_
- _ Other duties as required / requested_

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum One Year of Experience in Security
- Proficient in English (both oral and written)
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Valid Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C (WSIB Approved provider)
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
