**What You Will Do**:
As a **Specialist, Communications**you will play an essential role within our **Corporate Services & Stakeholder Relations** business unit, reporting to the **Manager, Communications**. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Supporting the development of communication plans and strategies;
- Creating engaging, audience-centric visual and written content for internal and external communications;
- Managing and monitoring social media platforms, engaging with audiences, and using performance metrics to optimize content and customer engagement;
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve cohesive messaging and support organizational goals;
- Verifying all content aligns with Company brand standards and upholds all legal and legislative standards;
- Keeping up to date with developments in communication trends, analytics, platforms, and established best practices; and
- Leading the planning and execution of Communications-led corporate events.

**What You Will Bring**:
Required qualifications:

- University Degree in Public Relations, Communications or related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution;
- Minimum of three (3) years related communications experience; and
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

- CPRS and/or IABC Designation;
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite, including SharePoint, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- Intermediate proficiency using graphic design platforms (e.g., Canva);
- Intermediate proficiency in website content management;
- Proficiency in digital marketing and social media strategies;
- Precision in managing content, maintaining accuracy and consistency; and
- Familiarity with the natural gas industry and an understanding of current issues would be an asset.
