What You Will Do: As a Senior Regulatory Specialist, you will play an essential role within our Regulatory Affairs team, reporting to Manager, Regulatory. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Interpreting and analyzing regulatory policies, and rate structures; Modifying and maintaining regulatory and financial models; Preparing and developing new financial models; Reviewing and supporting regulatory filings; Preparing scenarios and sensitivity analysis incorporating macro and microeconomic factors; Leading regulatory submissions; and Preparing workplans and leading project teams for regulatory application process. What You Will Bring: Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration or equivalent post-secondary education; Professional Accounting Designation; Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a regulatory environment; Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint; and Intermediate knowledge of data analytic software system (i.e., Power BI). Preferred skills and qualifications: Strong financial forecast planning, modeling, and analytical skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong organizational and project management skills; and Strong problem-solving skills.
