Inventory and Order Fulfillment Specialist

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

**WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?**

Inventory Operations
- Work alongside the Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of inventory management, including tracking, creating purchase orders, and restocking of products.
- Utilize inventory management and order fulfillment software effectively.
- Daily and weekly stock replenishment and over-stock organization - this includes moving stock from warehouse to warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations. Update inventory records in the system accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage inventory restocking and ensure timely deliveries.
- Optimize shipping methods and costs to ensure cost-effective delivery solutions.
- Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records, maintaining databases.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse space and warehouse supply inventory (i.e. labels, boxes and packing tape).
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Order Fulfillment & Office Maintenance
- Review & assign daily orders across all platforms to respective fulfillment locations.
- Manage order prioritization to meet customer delivery expectations.
- Communicate with fulfillment centers on stock availability, expedited orders, and cancellations.
- Communicate with customer service regarding shipping quotes, custom fulfillment requests, and unfulfillable orders.
- Pick & pack orders based on packaging and shipping guidelines.
- Communicate with Operations regarding large multi-package orders that may need to be transported from warehouse to warehouse.
- Inspect returned items, issue refunds, and return product to inventory.
- Preparing skids according to shipping requirements.
- Relabeling items in accordance with desired specifications.
- Receiving skids from 3rd party suppliers
- Verifying shipping counts are accurate & restocking items
- Preparing annual/bi-annual container shipments
- Seasonal maintenance of the office/warehouse including snow shoveling/salting walkway etc...
- Other general office maintenance needs as they arise.

**REQUIRMENTS**
- 2+ years relevant work experience in inventory management, warehousing, order fulfillment, or related fields
- Minimum completion of a secondary school diploma
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Shipping Software, Data Entry & Documentation Skills)
- Able to lift 50 lbs (repeatedly)
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License
- Own Reliable Vehicle
- Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Safety Boots
- Fork lift certification is an asset

- Must be able to maintain accuracy and detail oriented
- Effective problem-solving skills, deadline-oriented, and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated with high level of initiative
- Clear communicator

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
