The House Person is responsible for ensuring all public areas of the complex are properly cleaned and left tidy at all times. We are looking for people interested in AM and PM shifts.

**Job duties for the position include**:

- Responds promptly to requests from guests, housekeepers, and other departments.
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all entrances, elevators, stairwells, and public areas of the hotel. Assists maintenance team with snow removal, sweeping, or raking when required.
- Cleaning elevators, including tracks, walls, railings, mirrors, and control panels.
- Washes interior and exterior windows and doors in public areas.
- Dusts all public spaces including furniture, pictures, and light fixtures.
- Assisting the housekeeping team with cleaning rooms and or stripping linen off beds and removing garbage when required.
- Shampooing carpets and upholstery when required.
- Washes and dries pool towels in laundry room ensuring enough stock is available for guests.
- Identifies and reports maintenance issues.
- Closes pool and area at posted time, removing all garbage and soiled linen before locking up area.
- Walk floors at beginning and end of shift removing any unwanted items.
- Helps Housekeeping team with lifting or moving of heavy items.
- Reports and records missing/found items in housekeeping office.
- Restocks supplies.

**Prerequisites**: Previous customer service and housekeeping experience is an asset. Must be available to work a flexible schedule including overtime when required. Successful applicants must be able to bend, lift, push and pull with ease. This is a very physical and demanding position requiring heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., and pushing heavy bins of linen up to 100 lbs. Must be able to work with mínimal supervision. Must be available to work mornings and/or afternoons.

**Education**: Not Required.

**Experience**: Must have experience as a Housekeeper or House Person.

We provide fully furnished subsidized shared accommodation all within walking distance to work for only $15/day. These units consist of apartments, condos, and houses with 2-3 bedrooms. All units are equipped with their own bathroom/s, full sized kitchen, and in-suite laundry. All bedrooms and living rooms are fully furnished with the essentials, including free internet and cable. Occupancy in the units is limited to ensure a comfortable living environment. Smaller units have a maximum of 2-3 people with 1 bathroom and the larger units have a maximum of 4-5 people with 2-3 bathrooms.
