Spillett Security is looking for a part-time Security Guard to join our team, providing Hotel Security services near Canmore, Alberta.
These positions have proven to be an excellent stepping stone into law enforcement while allowing you to enjoy a Mountain Lifestyle. Working nights and leaving days free to enjoy the outdoors and local arts and culture.
Responsibilities include:
- Foot and mobile patrols of hotels, staff accommodations, and apartment/condo buildings
- Dealing with various disturbances/issues
- Emergency response (fire and medical)
- Report Writing *Manning desk
**Requirements**:
- Valid security license from the Alberta Solicitor General
- Valid 1st Aid
- Ability to work with little supervision and under pressure
- Neat and clean appearance
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Hospitality/Customer service experience
- Graduate of Police Sciences or Criminology an asset
On-the-job training will be provided.
**Please be aware, there is NOT housing available with this position**
**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $19.51-$21.48 per hour
Additional pay:
- Overtime pay

- 8 hour shift
- Every Weekend
- Night shift
- Overtime
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Security Licence (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Canadian working Visa or are you a Canadian Citizen (required)
