**Job Summary**

**Experience**

Experience within a health care facility, along with practical expertise in this specialty area is preferred. Consideration will be given to practical experience gained in other industries.

**Required Qualifications**

Undergraduate degree or diploma in a health related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Valid Class 5 Driver's license

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**

Knowledge of First Nations and Metis history in Saskatchewan along with an understanding of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action

Knowledge of the healthcare system in Saskatchewan

**Other Information**

SHA and unions continue to work through scope discussions. There is potential some positions currently OOS may transition in-scope in the future however it is unknown if this position will be impacted

Travel within the province of Saskatchewan may be required

**Additional Text**:
These positions will be primarily responsible for the areas of OHS, Patient Safety QCC or Quality Improvement. The successful applicant will be designated as a Safety Consultant in the QS portfolio within a defined geographic area. Please indicate on your cover letter your areas of interest/expertise & location of interest. Onsite presence & travel within the north will be required.
