**Medication Safety Analyst (Part-time Contracted Pharmacy Technician Consultant)**
- **Requirements**_
- Current licensure as a pharmacy technician in a Canadian province/territory.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a community pharmacy setting in Canada.
- Knowledge of standard operating procedures in the community pharmacy setting.
- Knowledge of pharmacy dispensing software systems
- Demonstrated technical aptitude with a willingness and ability to learn new digital tools/platforms
- Experience collaborating in, or leading, the development, implementation and evaluation of medication safety quality improvement initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal/presentation communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management and priority setting abilities.
- Fluency with Microsoft Office products (e.g., MS 365,) and Zoom.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an in-person and/or virtual team.
- **Preferred Experience and Skills**_
- Experience in additional pharmacy settings (e.g., hospital/acute care, long-term care, home care).
- Knowledge of accreditation and licensing requirements and professional practice standards.
- Oral and/or written French language fluency.

**The Institute for Safe Medication Practices Canada (ISMP Canada)** is a national, independent, and not-for-profit organization that purposefully partners with organizations, practitioners, consumers, and caregivers to advance medication safety in all healthcare settings.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
