**Payroll Management**:

- Compile and enter payroll data; post wages and reconcile errors
- Review computed wages and correct errors
- Prepare detailed reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions
- Record changes affecting net wages (e.g., exemptions, insurance coverage)
- Process weekly payroll for employees
- Enter new employee information into payroll software
- **Accounting Functions**:

- Manage accounts receivable and payable
- Calculate, prepare, and issue financial documents (bills, invoices, inventory reports, account statements)
- Code, total, batch, enter, verify, and reconcile transactions (purchase orders, cheques, invoices, bank statements)
- **Bookkeeping and Reporting**:

- Provide comprehensive bookkeeping services (banking, cash management, cash receipts, cash disbursements)
- Prepare financial statements and complete/ file government forms
- Maintain accurate records using accounting software
- Perform monthly reporting (Payroll, GST, HST, WSIB, EHT, etc.)
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Adhere to Health & Safety policies and regulations

**Qualifications**:

- **Bilingual**: French and English Required (strong asset)
- **Experience**: Minimum of 6 years in Accounting or Payroll functions
- **Software Proficiency**: Minimum 6 years Experience with QuickBooks; must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Cloud based software.
- **Skills**: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and attention to detail; ability to meet tight deadlines
- **Location**: Position based at the Cornwall office
- **Attributes**: Punctual, reliable, and a team player

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
